1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Koala SEO, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

Koala SEO is a web-based analytics tool that provides insights into Google Search Console data. We do not modify your search data or make any changes to your Google Search Console account. Features include keyword analysis, traffic trend detection, CTR opportunity identification, page speed checks, URL index inspection, AI/MCP access, and weekly digest emails.

3. Google Account Connection

To use our service, you must:

  • Have a valid Google account
  • Grant us read-only access to your Google Search Console data
  • Maintain the security of your Google account credentials

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service to violate any laws or regulations
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
  • Use automated systems or software to extract data from our service in bulk
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service

5. Third-Party Service Dependencies

Koala SEO relies on third-party APIs and services — including Google Search Console, Google PageSpeed Insights, Google URL Inspection, and email delivery providers. We have no control over the availability, accuracy, or continuity of these services. If a third-party service is unavailable, degraded, or returns incorrect data, related Koala SEO features may be unavailable or produce inaccurate results. We are not liable for any interruption or failure caused by a third-party service.

6. Feature Availability

We do not guarantee that any specific feature will be available at all times or function without interruption. In particular:

  • Live data and dashboards depend on Google Search Console API availability and quota limits. Data may be delayed or temporarily unavailable.
  • PageSpeed checks use the Google PageSpeed Insights API, which may be rate-limited or return variable results depending on network conditions and Google's infrastructure.
  • URL index inspection reflects Google's index state at the time of the request. Results may be stale, incomplete, or differ from what Google Search Console shows directly.
  • MCP and REST API access is subject to rate limits. Exceeding limits will result in temporary access restrictions.
  • Weekly digest emails are sent on a best-effort basis. Delivery is not guaranteed and may be affected by spam filters, email provider outages, or missing data for a given period. You can unsubscribe at any time from your account settings.
  • Shareable reports are frozen snapshots. We do not guarantee their availability indefinitely and may remove old reports after extended inactivity.

7. API Limits and Fair Use

Our service is subject to Google Search Console API quotas. We implement caching to minimize API usage. Excessive use that approaches API limits may result in temporary service degradation for all users. We reserve the right to throttle or restrict access for accounts that generate disproportionate API load.

8. Data Accuracy and SEO Advice

We display data sourced from Google Search Console and other third-party APIs. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data shown. Insights, opportunity scores, CTR estimates, and recommendations are informational only — they do not constitute professional SEO advice. Results of acting on any suggestion provided by Koala SEO are your sole responsibility.

9. Service Availability and Uptime

We do not provide any uptime guarantee or service level agreement (SLA). The service may be taken offline for maintenance, updates, or emergency fixes at any time without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to minimise disruption but cannot be held liable for any loss arising from downtime.

10. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial periods except where required by law. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES. WE DO NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS OF ANY DATA, INSIGHT, OR RECOMMENDATION PROVIDED THROUGH THE SERVICE.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KOALA SEO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING LOSS OF REVENUE, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, OR LOSS OF BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY — ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
