Connect Google Search Console
Connect Google Search Console
Connect one or more Google accounts to see all your Search Console properties in a single Koala dashboard.
How It Works
Koala SEO uses Google's OAuth 2.0 flow to connect to your Search Console account. This means:
- No passwords stored - Koala never sees your Google password
- Read-only access - Koala can only read your data, never modify it
- Revocable - You can disconnect at any time from Settings
Connecting Your First Account
- Go to Settings → Account
- Click Connect another Google account
- Sign in with your Google account and grant read-only Search Console permissions
- Your properties appear on the dashboard automatically
Connecting Multiple Google Accounts
If you manage properties across different Google accounts (e.g., personal and agency accounts), you can link all of them to a single Koala login.
- Go to Settings → Account
- Under Connected Google accounts, click Connect another Google account
- Sign in with the second Google account
- Koala merges the property lists from all accounts - duplicates are automatically removed
You can connect as many Google accounts as needed. Each account's properties appear alongside the others on your dashboard.
Disconnecting an Account
- Go to Settings → Account
- Under Connected Google accounts, click Disconnect next to the account you want to remove
- Properties that belonged only to that account will no longer appear in your dashboard
You cannot disconnect your only remaining Google account.
Data Refresh
Koala fetches fresh data from Search Console on demand. Use the Refresh button on the dashboard to pull the latest data from all connected accounts at once.
Troubleshooting
"No properties found"
Your connected Google account has no verified Search Console properties. Verify a site in Google Search Console first, then refresh.
"account_already_linked_to_different_user"
The Google account you're trying to add is already registered as a separate Koala account. To link it:
- Sign in to that separate Koala account
- Go to Settings → Account → Delete my account
- Confirm deletion (follow the email link)
- Return to your primary account and connect the Google account again
Connection error
- Make sure you're signing in with the correct Google account
- Try disconnecting and reconnecting
- Check that your browser allows popups
