URL Inspection
URL Inspection
Koala can inspect individual pages with Google's URL Inspection API from the Top Pages - by clicks dashboard section.
Where to Find It
Open any connected site from /app, then look for Top Pages - by clicks after Property Overview.
Use the Index column and click Inspect on any page row.
What It Checks
URL Inspection returns Search Console's indexed-version data for that page, including:
- Whether Google reports the URL as indexed
- Coverage state
- Last crawl time
- Page fetch status
- Robots.txt state
- Noindex/indexing state
- Google-selected canonical
- User-declared canonical
- AMP and rich result issues when available
Indexed Version, Not a Live Test
Google's URL Inspection API reports the version of the URL in Google's index. It does not run a live crawl or live indexability test.
If you recently changed a page, the result may reflect Google's last known indexed version until Google crawls the page again.
Access and Quotas
URL Inspection uses your connected Google Search Console account and only works for properties you can access.
Koala runs inspections on demand only. It does not automatically inspect every page in the table.
