Dashboard & Site Overview

Dashboard & Site Overview

The dashboard is your home base for understanding how your site is performing in Google Search.

Overview Cards

The top of the dashboard shows key metrics for the selected time period:

Metric Description
Clicks Total clicks from Google search results
Impressions How many times your pages appeared in results
CTR Click-through rate (clicks ÷ impressions)
Position Average ranking position

Each metric shows the change compared to the previous period. Green arrows indicate improvement, red arrows indicate decline.

Site Selector

Use the site dropdown at the top to switch between different properties. Each site shows its own independent data.

Top Pages, Indexing, and PageSpeed

The Top Pages - by clicks section shows the URLs that drive the most Google Search traffic for the selected site.

Click Inspect in the Index column to check whether Google reports a page as indexed, including crawl and canonical details.

Click Check in the Speed column to run a mobile PageSpeed Insights check for that page. Indexing and speed checks run on demand only, not automatically for every row.

Tabs

The dashboard has several tabs to explore different aspects of your performance:

Summary

Overview of your site's search performance. Shows the overview cards plus a chart of clicks and impressions over time.

Trending

Best performing — Keywords that have improved the most Worst performing — Keywords that have declined the most

Click any keyword to see detailed information about its performance.

Opportunities

Quick wins — Keywords ranking in positions 11-20 that have good impressions. Moving up a few spots could bring significant clicks.

CTR opportunities — Keywords where you appear in top positions but have low CTR. Improving your titles and descriptions could increase clicks without changing rankings.

Keywords

Full list of all keywords your site appears for. You can search, sort, and filter to find specific queries.

Insights

The Insights button at the top of the dashboard opens a panel with the top 10 signals across all your pinned properties — low CTR, near-page-1 keywords, declining queries, and more. Each insight includes an observation, a suggested action, and a Save as note button to start tracking it. See Insights for details.

Pinning Sites

Click the pin icon on any site card to add it to your favorites. Pinned sites appear at the top of the home dashboard for quick access.
